My Favorite (Free) AI Course
For complete beginners, I highly recommend « Generative AI for Everyone » on Coursera. It’s taught by Andrew Ng, a Google veteran and a total AI legend. He explains things super clearly, and trust me, this guy knows his stuff! He’s way more knowledgeable than some influencers selling courses for $100+ that know next to nothing about AI. The best part? It’s free (auditor mode) on Coursera. Just make sure to select the « audit » option when signing up.
The Certification: An Investment for Later
Sure, the paid certification ($44) is an option. But honestly, if you’re just starting, I don’t think it’s necessary. Focus on mastering the fundamentals first. Once you’ve got a solid base, you can think about paying for a certification—but for a more specific area or a more advanced course.
